Flash Mental Math

Add briefly displayed numbers in your head and enter the total. Each cleared round gets harder.

Can your brain add numbers as fast as they flash by? In this flash mental math game, a string of numbers blinks on screen one at a time — then you type their total from memory. Clear a round and the next one gets harder: more numbers, bigger digits, faster flashes. One wrong sum ends the run, so your score is how many rounds you survive. It's a classic soroban-style anzan drill that trains working memory and lightning addition — a perfect brain-training companion to the mental math sprint, number memory, and chimp test.

How to play

  1. Press Start — numbers flash on screen one after another.
  2. Add them all up in your head, then type the total and press ✓.
  3. Each cleared round gets faster and harder. One wrong answer ends the run — how far can you go?

About This Content

Numbers appear one at a time. Enter their total to clear the round; later rounds add numbers, digits, or speed. Your result is the number of rounds cleared, with no brain-age or ability estimate.
